When you are caring for a loved one, it can be a draining experience. There are a number of alarms available to help - you can monitor the location and even the needs of the patient while not being in the room. But these alarms must all connect to something and carrying around multiple pagers on your person is neither practical or ideal.
With the POCSAG Long Range Pager, you do not need to worry about this. One pager has an infinite number of channels, meaning it can be attached to however many alarms are required. With the standard range being set at 400m and a personalised message informing you which alarm has been triggered, you can keep track of everything through the use of one pager.
Features of the POCSAG Long Range Pager
The POCSAG Pager is a multi-channel, long range pager. With a range of up to 400m, it is ideal for buildings where signals might otherwise struggle to penetrate the walls. The multi-channel means it can be connected with an infinite number of alarms, allowing you to monitor everything with one pager.
There are two lines of text able to be displayed. These messages can be personalised with the alarms so you receive an exact location when an alarm is triggered. Up to twenty messages can be stored, making it ideal for a care home situation as you can track which alarms are sounding and when. The display also shows the time and date.
The pager has a choice of 4 different tones as well as a vibration alert. The display is backlit for ease of use.
The pager is operated by 1 x AAA battery which is supplied along with a belt clip. Based on an average of 4 alerts a day, the battery should last up to six weeks.
