How Does the Door Alarm Kit Work?
The Door Alarm and Pager kit is simple yet effective: the wireless door alarm sensor is installed by the door or window as required, and is wire free to ensure you can position it in the best possible location for your needs. Once this sensor detects that the door or window has been opened, it sends an alert to the pager to inform you.

The alert sent wirelessly to the pager is received as either an audible tone or a silent vibration. How Close to the Sensor Do I Need to Be?
One of the benefits of the Door Alarm and Pager combination is that you don't need to be right beside it for it to operate. The pager features a range of 400 metres, which should be suitable for most homes and care environments.
How Long Will the Batteries Last?
The batteries provided should last around six months. This ensures you don't need to constantly worry about replacing the batteries, and the low-battery indicator will give you plenty of warning when they need to be changed.
New-and-Improved Range
Whereas older versions of this door sensor previously had a range of approximately 100m, this new-and-improved version now has a range of 400m. This makes it better suited to using in larger houses, or houses with thicker walls.
