Do I Have to Use the Screws Provided?
You'll receive four hardened steel security clutch screws with your purchase. Once they are drilled in, they cannot be taken out unless a tungsten carbide drill is used. This is intended to prevent the accidental removal of the restrictor from your window. While these screws have their benefits, there is no problem with you using your own screws instead, although they may not hold the restrictor as securely in place.
