Coming with an alarm that is designed to alert hard of hearing individuals to an alarm situation, the UM3A-2212 System is ideal for use with the elderly in care homes.

How to Link Your UM3A-2212 System to Existing Systems
The Silent Alert Smoke/Carbon Monoxide Monitor is designed to link to LD1, LD2 & LD3 compliant domestic smoke & heat alarm systems, automatically alerting deaf & hard of hearing people of an alarm to a vibrating pager and/or SignWave flashing sounder.
Linked via a relay module to interlinked systems, any existing compliant system can be made accessible to deaf and hard of hearing people without the need to double up or replace existing detectors.
How Does the Pager Work?
The vibrating pager provides a portable alert during the day and night cover is provided via a vibrating pillow pad. The SignWave has a two tone (500Hz & 3000Hz) audio alarm and a bright LED strobe together with a vibrating pillow pad for night.
Which Units Are Compatible?
The Silent Alert system is compatible with the BS5839-1 Fire Safe system which links into main fire alarm systems. A user can be alerted when their own smoke alarms activate, as well as the main building alarm and differentiate between the two so as they can follow any stay put or evacuation policy.
