Bellman Bed Shaker and Wrist Receiver
When you are hard of hearing, the doorbell or the telephone ringing can be problematic. But these tend to happen during the day. What happens when something is screaming for your attention (whether it is the literal scream of a baby or an alarm) in the night? Being asleep only increases your problems when it comes to hearing things.
Luckily, Bellman have invented the combined Bellman Bed Shaker and Wrist Receiver. The Bed Shaker is positioned under either the mattress or the pillows, and connects to the receiver. It is triggered when an alarm is activated. Powerful vibrations shake both the device and the bed, drawing even a heavy sleeper out of their doze.
The Bed Shaker connects with a number of Bellman Receivers, including the Wrist Receiver.
Features of the Bed Shaker
The shaker can connect to any Bellman product with a vibrator output - including the receivers. The receiver is plugged in and then when an alarm is triggered in the night, vibrations ensure the sleeper is woken up.
The bed shaker has a number of different features to make it ideal:
- Anti-slip protector to ensure the shaker remains in place once it has been activated
- Low voltage operation so the device is safe to use
- Long cable length of 2m
- Dimensions: (WxHxD): 88 x 88 x 27mm
- Weight: 120g
- Powered via the receiver so batteries do not have to be changed or worried about.
With the Bed Shaker, you never need worry about missing an alarm again, whether you are hard of hearing, a heavy sleeper or both.
The Bed Shaker is available with a range of Bellman Receivers, including the Wrist Receiver. This can be worn on the wrist around the home, ensuring that a reliable alert for the hard of hearing is always at hand.
Please note: the Pager Receiver is shown in the image. The Wrist Receiver will be provided.
